We built SalaryNurse to be useful without collecting much about you. Salary submissions are anonymous, reviewed, and only ever published in aggregate. This policy explains what we handle and why.
Who operates this site
This Privacy Policy describes how PGBDIC LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with SalaryNurse.com (the “Site”). We aim to collect as little personal information as possible.
Information we collect
The Site is designed to be useful without requiring an account. Depending on how you use it, we may handle:
- Salary submissions you choose to share (see below).
- Information you enter into a contact or inquiry form, such as your name, email, and message, if and when those forms are enabled.
- Basic technical and usage information that most websites receive automatically, such as general device and browser type, if and when analytics are enabled.
Salary submissions
Nurses can submit pay information anonymously. Submissions are reviewed before they affect anything on the Site and are only ever published in aggregate above a minimum sample size — never as a single identifiable person’s pay.
If you optionally provide an email address or a proof link with a submission, those are kept private, used only to review the submission, and are never displayed publicly.
Analytics and cookies
The Site is built to work without intrusive tracking. If we add privacy-respecting analytics or use cookies in the future, we will describe what is collected and update this policy before enabling it. Any cookie or analytics disclosures required by law will be added at that time.
Contact form data
When a contact or inquiry form is enabled, the information you submit through it will be used only to respond to you and to operate the Site. It will not be sold.
How we use information
We use the limited information we handle to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its salary data.
- Review salary submissions and publish them only in aggregate.
- Respond to inquiries you send us.
- Protect the Site against misuse, fraud, and abuse.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Aggregate and de-identified data
We may combine submissions into aggregate, de-identified statistics that do not identify any individual. Aggregate data may be displayed on the Site or used to improve our methodology. This is the core purpose of the Site.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers (for example, hosting or infrastructure) that help us operate the Site, and only as needed for that purpose. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Site.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. Retention periods for salary submissions and contact data are to be confirmed by the operator and will be documented here.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for a professional, adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. Because we intentionally collect very little personal information, these requests are usually simple. State-specific privacy notices (for example, for California and other states) will be added here as needed and confirmed by the operator.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “last updated” date, and material changes take effect when posted.
